Eva’s World and Welcome to It

2023, looping animation and original score

The title is taken from my first grade report card, in which a beloved teacher wrote the line “Eva is curious about her world and about her special place in this giant space called, ‘My world and welcome to it.’ She is creative, energetic, thoughtful and full of wonder.”

In my dream a school of fish swim through air, tufts of grass grow up across a spotted chartreuse cave and there among the pink lily pads we float in our own little magic world. I view art as an opportunity to externalize my innermost fantasies and visions. This new foray into 3D modeling and animation has provided me with new tools to do so.
